1/6 Scale Doppelsoldner - WF 2024 Exclusive

In the series »The Evolution of Europe« the manufacturer Pop Costume takes a foray into European military history and recreates famous historical costumes, armor and weapons in museum quality on a scale of 1:6.

This "Doppelsoldner" was presented at the Wonder Festival 2024 in Shanghai as an Event-Exclusive.

"Doppelsoldner" were mercenaries of the late Middle Ages and the early modern period who received double or multiple pay because of their willingness to fight in the front line of battle and thus bear the highest risk, or because of their special equipment and combat experience.

The figure comes with a tailor-made costume and handmade armor made of copper. In addition to a sword and a dagger, his armament includes a spectacular two-handed long sword, also known as a "flamberge" or "Gassenhauer".
