1:1 Frankenstein Lifesize Bust (Universal Monsters)

First released in 1931, Frankenstein is one of the true masterpieces of early cinema. The film gave birth to a new genre for Hollywood, and delivered several characters so iconic and archetypal that they remain staples of horror films and popular culture. Boris Karloff's portrayal of the lumbering, misunderstood monster is both heartbreaking and horrifying. In this non-speaking role, Karloff's brilliant performance shines with the help of Jack Pierce's make-up, somehow remaining sympathetic despite the scars and bolts.

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of Frankenstein, Sideshow Collectibles is proud to offer a life-size bust of Karloff as the monster. The artists at Sideshow, recreating Karloff's likeness, the Jack Pierce make-up and reproducing the classic costume in high-quality fabrics, have expertly captured the essence of the character. The portrait has been brought to life in 'Living Color,' while remaining faithful to the make-up technique and on-screen appearance of the silver-screen legend. Each bust is hand cast in fiberglass, and hand finished to exacting standards. The bust is mounted on a decorative base, and each piece is individually hand-numbered.
