In an exuberant scenery, an innocent twelve-year-old girl from a farm in Kansas keeps on smiling, always followed by her Cairn Terrier pet dog Toto. Wearing a white shirt underneath a blue checkered pinafore dress, the charismatic young woman with brown hair follows the yellow brick road with her magic ruby slippers, carrying a small wicker basket, searching for the Emerald City and its mysterious wizard to finally find the way back home. Completing an amazing diorama set composed by the already presented statues of her iconic friends Cowardly Lion, Scarecrow, and Tin man, Iron Studios proudly present the statue “Dorothy Deluxe - The Wizard of Oz - Art Scale 1/10”, the most iconic role played by actress Judy Garland in “The Wizard of Oz” from 1939, in a detailed pedestal with the Emerald City set in the background, the long way down the yellow brick road, and the movie’s logo on the front.
Iron Studios also bring the regular version, in the statue “Dorothy - The Wizard of Oz - Art Scale 1/10”, with the brave hero and Toto over a simple pedestal of the yellow brick road. Based on the original novel from 1900, considered the first North American fairytale, on a farm in Kansas’ countryside, the protagonist hero of the story, Dorothy, an orphan girl in her early teens, and her pet dog Toto, are taken by a hurricane together with their house. Sucked into the heart of the storm, the house spins until it lands, and Dorothy realizes she is not in Kansas anymore and that she must have crossed over the Rainbow. She finds herself in a place with bright blue skies, beautiful green hills, tall trees with juicy fruits, and giant flowers in a wonderful landscape. Glinda, the beautiful Good Witch of the North, appears right in front of her and tells her that she is in the magic Land of Oz and that her house dropped on top of the Wicked Witch of the East and killed her. Dorothy is declared a hero by the Munchk ns, small people that suffered as captives of the Wicked Witch, but her green-skinned sister, the Wicked Witch of the West, arises to avenge her and claims her magical Ruby Slippers, now in Dorothy’s possession. In the search for the way back to Kansas, Dorothy follows the Yellow Brick Road seeking the Emerald City, where the Wizard of Oz lives, the only one who can help her, according to Glinda. Along the road, she finds a talking Scarecrow, a Tin Man, and a Cowardly Lion that join her in the search for the wizard, and each one of them has a personal wish to ask him to fulfill. But in this journey, they’ll have to face the Wicked Witch of the West, which aims to recover her sister’s ruby slippers and use their power to become the most powerful being in Oz.
