This version of the Airwolf 8" Die Cast Helicopter is depicted in matte black with a white belly. Features listed on the back of the box include the following: main rotor & rear rotor, chain guns & cannon, sunburst, landing legs, door ADF pod. The helicopter’s electronically-powered main and rear rotar functions require 2 AAA batteries. The show stemmed from the adventures of the supersonic helicopter Airwolf, manned by Vietnam veteran and freelance pilot Stringfellow Hawke on behalf of a super-covert extension of the CIA. Airwolf’s main strength, apart from modifications and weaponry, was the fact the helicopter could represent itself as a harmless non-military manifestation.
