1/7 Scale Luke vs. Vader Snap Fit Model Kit (McQuarrie Ver.)

The McQuarrie Luke Skywalker vs. Darth Vader Concept Duel Statue measures 16.5” in length and 11” in height. This McQuarrie concept scenario features the tow-headed Luke Skywalker armed with a yellow lightsaber and equipped with a pack-borne respirator and protective mask. The black-clad Darth Vader is armed with a blue lightsaber, equipped with a gun belt, and outfitted with the full array that would eventually become his permanent character design.

This concept involves an early version in which the Rebel Starship is penetrated and depressurized, forcing the Skywalker character to don a respirator for his duel with Vader. The theatrical interpretation was widely different, and the Skywalker/Vader duel was held over until The Empire Strikes Back---at which point Skywalker took a monstrous thrashing, lost his hand, and suffered the epiphany of Vader’s unexpected fatherly confession.
