Far beneath the jagged peak of Erebor, Dwarf miners followed seams of shimmering gold and clusters of fine gems, chipping their way ever deeper into the mountain’s roots. Here dwelt Thror, mightiest of Dwarf kings, and his people, the children of Durin. No richer bounty had any realm in Middle-earth than Thror’s kingdom under the Lonely Mountain.
Enraptured by its wealth the Dwarves tunnelled hungrily, carving vast galleries, yawning chasms, sweeping bridges and arched passages from its green rock. And ever as deep they dug, yet more wealth their picks and hammers unearthed.
Yet as brightly as the gems sparkled, and with as much fire as the gold they mined glowed, the greatest treasure of Erebor gleamed peerless above all others. The Arkenstone, the Dwarves named it, and within it swirled the echo of creation, a leftover relic of an age long past, when the world was still unformed, not meant for mortal eyes. In its finding Thror saw his rule divinely ordained, setting it above his throne of stone for all to witness and kneel before.
Our authentic prop replicas and collectibles are created by the very same artists who have worked on the three films, so effectively they come straight from Middle-earth.

Expertly sculpted by Gary Hunt, a member of the original Lord of the Rings crew, Dwarf Miner is our most intricately detailed Miniature Figure to date. The Longbeard hangs suspended in time, moments away from uncovering the heart of the Mountain.
This is an Open Edition piece. Please note: images are of a pre-production prototype. Each statue is painted by hand and slight variations will occur.
It takes 400-500 hours to design, sculpt, model make, mold, and paint the prototype for each new Middle-earth piece. Whether it be a prop replica, beautiful environment or iconic character, we treat our collectibles with the same level of care and attention to detail that we bring to our film work.
