The character first appeared in Captain Marvel # 27 (vol. 1, Jul. 1973) and was created by Mike Friedrich and Jim Starlin. This version of Death captures the artistic style of the subject. Sculpted by Randy Bowen, Mistress Death is a very detailed 12" tall statue.
