Sideshow proudly presents this fantastic new addition to the Marvel Diorama series, the Namor VS Iron Man Diorama. Pitting the Sub-Mariner against ol' Shellhead in one of their many ongoing battles, this outstanding diorama is cast in heavy-weight, high-quality polystone. Each piece is individually painted and finished to exacting standards, each with its own unique quality and detail that is the trademark of a handcrafted Sideshow Collectibles product. Iron Man is captured in his classic armor ready to combat the Sub-Mariner, who surging from the water atop a cresting wave of translucent water, and features a switch-out right hand (either fist or hand holding trident). The Namor VS Iron Diorama is the perfect addition to any Marvel collection.

Namor, the prince of Atlantis, grew up with a short, nasty temper and a hostile attitude toward surface-dwellers, whom he blamed for the near-destruction of Atlantis that occurred shortly before his birth. His angry attacks on the surface world caused untold destruction throughout New York City, which incited animosity from the superheroes who defend humanity.

Toward the end of World War II, Atlantis again suffered near-devastating damages from a series of major earthquakes caused by Paul Destine, who had acquired the Helmet of Power. Blaming humanity for the quakes, he resumed his war on the surface world and rashly invaded New York to avenge the destruction of his homeland. He stubbornly spent the next several years warring with the surface world and the allied heroes who defend it - most notably, Iron Man with whom he frequently clashed. For years to follow, the two would wage many ongoing battles, becoming personal adversaries.
