If you have no idea how you want to spend this evening, we have three recommendations for you. You have the joy of choice - cinema or sofa, film or series.

»Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery« is hitting cinemas today. The sequel to the box office success of Rian Johnson's »Knives Out« promises again amusing guesswork with Daniel Craig as master detective Benoit Blanc and a large squad of stars. Watching movies on the big screen is always a special treat. But if you're not a cinema visitor and have a little patience - the film will also be available on Netflix from December 23rd.

All Star Wars fans among you certainly have a date with »Andor« on Disney+. The exciting, very down-to-earth series celebrates the finale of the first season today. If you haven't watched it yet, this is our ultimate binging tip for the coming weekend.

Another well-regarded series starts today (logically on a Wednesday) on Netflix. We are of course talking about the Tim Burton series »Wednesday« with Jenna Ortega in the title role. We really liked the trailers and are accordingly curious.

The two Italian manufacturers Infinite Statue and Kaustic Plastik share a love for cinema and especially for the great film classics. The result of their fourth collaboration in the 1/6 figure series is very impressive: with their first Dracula figure, they set a worthy monument to Bela Lugosi. The 1931 Dracula film was Universal Studios' first horror talkie and marked the start of the first great horror wave.

Our vampire friend and film history expert Mick took a close look at the figure and, as expected, is very astonished about the iconic bloodsucker. So he wrote a detailed review to Bela Lugosi in the Action Figure District.

By the way: we remain loyal to Count Dracula, as we will soon be dedicating a detailed S.P.A.C.E Special to the films and collectibles. The release is planned before Christmas.

After 11 seasons, 12 years and 177 episodes, »The Walking Dead« has come to an end. We can only agree with the wish »Rest in Peace«, the title of the final episode.

The series made TV history in more ways than one. When the first episodes flickered across screens in 2010, we were in the era of weekly broadcast television. Every new episode was a small event back then and was discussed extensively in podcasts. We were also in The Walking Dead fever and tried not to miss a single episode. The series also raised the gore score quite a bit. It hadn't been seen on TV before and zombies had suddenly become mainstream.

The series was also a real booster looking at the collectibles scene. So Threezero brought a big 1:6 line which didn't really get off the ground at the beginning, but then gave us a whole range of exciting figures. TWD also ended the beauty sleep of the former action-figure top dog McFarlane Toys. While the company was still in danger of slipping into  the "undead" statue at the time, the license to the Walking Dead came at just the right moment and revitalized the toy company, which subsequently delighted many of us with action-figures and statues in different formats and new concepts such as the building sets. There were busts and statues from Gentle Giant, a whole army of Funko Pops, and also replicas like Michonne's katana or Lucille, Negan's infamous baseball bat.

But no hype lasts forever, and like other series before it, The Walking Dead eventually wore out. A changing TV landscape, in which streaming services largely replaced analogue television for many viewers, and an unprecedented range of exciting new series made it increasingly difficult for the Walking Dead. In addition, some script decisions did not find the undivided love of the fans. Our interest also crumbled visibly, to be honest.

Rick Grimes and Michonne also reported back for the finale. In 2023, they will get the joint spin-off series »The Walking Dead: Rick & Michonne«. Whether the world needs another Walking Dead series is certainly debatable. But why not - die-hard fans will be delighted. Everyone else says REST IN PEACE.

When looking at the cinema-menu today, we discovered a fine recommendation called THE MENU - the new movie with Anya Taylor-Joy in the leading role!

In THE MENU, a young couple is traveling to a lonely island to visit an exclusive restaurant and have dinner there. Going along with the noble dish, a couple of bitter surprises are served by the chef (played by Ralph Fiennes) though ...

... actually two brand-new, incredibly stunning collectibles of one of the absolute cult musicians on our pre-order section: KURT COBAIN!

The Asian manufacturer BLITZWAY is well known for exciting licenses apart from the mainstream - both on the 1/6 figure section and the extravagant high-end statues quarter scale. Names like Elvis Presley, Jimi Hendrix, Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn or also Bruce Lee make the hearts of many collectors glow since years. It's not only the characters themselves that BLITZWAY is bringing to life, but especially also the extraordinary level of quality that is reached most of the times.

Our of nowhere - or shall we say "out of the nirvana" - even two announcements came in for one of the most famous musicians of our time: Kurt Cobain, front man of the cult band »Nirvana«, will be produced by BLITZWAY as a 1/6 Scale Ultimate Masterpiece Figure and as 1/4 Superb Scale Statue. The first images of both collectibles make a fantastic impression - and we really appreciate the fact that collectors can choose and decide right away which scale or which version is the better fit to their collection. It is of course out of the question that die-hard fans have to order both 🤘.

Let's see if BLITZWAY will deliver the Kurt Cobain collectibles in a heart-shaped box in the end 💝... That would for sure be a blast 😉.

For the past two weeks, the annual kitbashing competition has been held in the Action Figure District. The award ceremony took place on Sunday.

The competition is divided into the sections Pflicht (obligation) and Kür (freestyle). In the obligation, the figures of the participants are presented, photographed in front of a neutral, single-colored background, so that all entries can compete under similar conditions. Voting can then take place for a week.

In addition to this election, the election for the “Oscars” will also take place. Similar to the famous film award, the District Oscars are about certain aspects of the characters, such as "best costume" or "best self-made prop", etc. There were 18 entries in the compulsory:

The freestyle Kür took place in the second week. Here the figures should be put in the best light, regardless of whether you photograph your figures outdoors, work with a backdrop or a diorama. You can access your own pool, integrate supporting actors, tell stories and also technically lend a hand in Photoshop or use effect apps. In a nutshell: everything is allowed in this part. The only requirement for this part is prior participation in the compulsory program. There were 12 entries in the freestyle this year.

The winner in duty was LURTZ. The character from »The Lord of the Rings« was interpreted by Maik and finished with a big lead.

In the freestyle, Dunedin, alias Mick, won the race. He was able to score with his interpretation of the pirate LA BUSE and a ship diorama specially built for the contribution.

As we already could figure out from the first teaser, there will be a lot of rumble and roll going on also in part 4. Besides Keanu Reeves we get to see guys like Laurence Fishburn, Lance Reddick, Ian McShane, Bill Skarsgård, Donnie Yen and Scott Adkins. Totally clear that this will get furious 😆.

It's official: the prequel series THE WITCHER: BLOOD ORIGIN finally has an exaxt NETFLIX launch date! From December 25 we can all gather for stories out of the Witcher universe.

The start date was published together with a very moody teaser - and this really kicks ass! We are especially excited to see the great Michelle Yeoh as one of the leading actresses.

Starting today, all MARVEL fans can make their journey back to Wakanda and dive into the world of Black Panther again...

Let's be honest - the movie didn't have an easy road because the sad story around the original Black Panther, the actor Chadwick Boseman, brought a huge tragedy not only in real life, but also within the MCU. The first screenplay had to be re-scripted and both the death of the main actor aswell as the introduction of the new Black Panther needed to find its place in the new script. Of course we also get to see the new antagonist Namor in the sequel (who was eagerly awaited by fans). And to make sure that the Disney+ series promo won't come to a pause, the appearance of the next character - Ironheart - may also not be missed out.

This alone are many puzzle pieces that might make the movie appear a bit torn apart. But this should not hold us back from buying a ticket. The lack of new blockbusters at cinemas during summer was too big, wasn't it?! So take some time over the weekend and treat yourself with popcorn and coke - and almost three hours of »Black Panther: Wakanda Forever«!

Today is a great day for all gamers: GOD OF WAR RAGNARÖK is finally released! So Fimbulwinter has begun and we fight as Kratos our way through the mythical world of gods once again - the second time in the Nordic hemisphere.

As far as the first reviews or reviews say, the devolopers from SANTA MONICA STUDIO really delivered. It should definitely be a candidate for the Game of the Year Award - despite the very strong competition this year. But of course we want to get an idea of it for ourselves and our Tobi aka Krobi could hardly wait for the end of the day to install the game and start slaughtering 😁.

The extremely impressive and super detailed 1/6 scale Dr. BB figure from the manufacturer BLITZWAY surely was not only for Steffen (@sgink_labs) a highlight of this year. Deservedly the scientist together with her brick-sidekick made it into our POSTCARD COLLECTION. If you missed out on this figure, you can now at least comfort yourself with the postcard - but of course only if you will receive a package from us during this month 😉!

Due to a small mishap, HBO accidentally leaked the start date of the »The Last of Us« series in its own store. When the error was noticed, the message had long since made the rounds in fan circles. So HBO quickly followed up on Twitter with the official confirmation and a poster.

The series adaptation of the game by Naughty Dog and Sony starts in the USA on January 15th. In Germany the episodes can be seen one day after the US broadcast on Sky!

We're super excited for the series, which has an excellent cast with Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian) as Joel Miller and Bella Ramsey (Game of Thrones) as Ellie Williams. HBO has always made a name for itself in the past when it comes to high-quality series. This allows us to be very confident about January 16th.

Halloween is behind us, but we're staying in scary mode a little longer and want to review the Shocktober and »31 Nights of Fright«. That's the title of the annual NECA campaign. Every day, there was a new morsel of horror on social media including images of Head Knockers, Toony Terrors figures, Ultimate action-figures and other formats.

There were final pack shots, reveals and teasers for upcoming products. These were particularly exciting because the associated character was only announced by a detail (such as the mean »Saw« trap). The posting of October 27 does only show a silhouette against the light. The image and the text "It's Midnight somewhere" let us hope for Lon Chaney in »London after Midnight«, the holy grail of lost films. A figure that fits in well with the Universal Monsters line (although it was an MGM movie).

Speaking of Lon Chaney: here we are particularly looking forward to »The Phantom of the Opera« . Other amazing figures on classics will be Gillman from »Creature from the Black Lagoon« and »Dracula« (Bela Lugosi) in a cylinder version. For dog lovers there is the faithful friend from »The Thing« in different stages of metamorphosis. Regarding more recent movies, there will for example be a figure from »The Nun«. The Predator from »Prey« finally makes his debut in the great Predator series. And NECA dedicates an entire series to Rob Zombie's »The Munsters«.

Looking at the Toony Terrors we gladly can expect horror host Svengoolie and especially the unforgettable Captain Spaulding.

And among the head knockers we meet Frankenstein's Monster, Elvira, Regan from »The Exorcist«, as well as The Nun and Annabelle from the »Conjuring« universe.

The life-size figures of Chucky and Tiffany are an absolute mega blast! Probably every horror fan can very well imagine them as future roommates.

The guys at NECA have proven once again that they have a heart for horror and know how to celebrate the genre in a variety of guises - whether realistic or cartoonish. From the silent film classics to the modern day, NECA serves us with the beloved icons of horror. Thank you!

Wow, wow and again wow! James Cameron shows himself again as a great visionary of cinema. We had to wait 13 years for the Avatar sequel, partly because the technology needed to realize Cameron's vision just wasn't there yet. The trailer impressively shows how much the wait was worth it. The CGI underwater world is simply breathtaking. Cameron once again takes us into a fantastic world that we have never seen before.

This will be THE cinema event of the year and the movie theater is exactly the place where we should indulge in the magic. On December 14th the time has finally come. We are very excited to see how the story of Jake, Ney'tiri, their family and their people continues. With 190 minutes or even more, an epic of superlatives awaits us.

We don't have to wait that long for part 3, because it was already filmed parallel to part 2 and will be in cinemas on December 18, 2023. Part 4 is to follow in 2026 and part 5 is expected in 2028.

In Italy, »Lucca Comics & Games« ended yesterday. It is the largest comic festival in Europe and would certainly be worth a trip across the Alps. Of particular interest to us this year was the booth of Infinite Statue & Kaustic Plastik, because that's where the world premiere of a long-awaited 1/6 figure took place. We're talking, of course, about Terence Hill from »They Call Me Trinity«. Trinity finally joins his brother Bambino, Terence Hill reunites with Bud Spencer in the 1:6 scale - what a celebration! A dream comes true for many 1/6 collectors. And we have to say: the figure looks really stunning! You can pre-order it with us on our website starting November 14th 😃.

In addition to this spectacular new launch, there was even more to admire in the Bud Spencer & Terence Hill Collection (as another world premiere), such as the high-quality 1:12 action figures with real fabric clothing and motorcycles and the iconic Dune Buggy from »Watch Out, We're Mad«.

Also on display were the Infinite Bud Spencer 🍌 »Banana Joe« 🍌 and Marlon Brando statues in the final version as they will be delivered shortly (so what you saw is what you get!). Infinite did a fantastic job there!

Incidentally, the 1:18 Agent Dale Cooper statue and Twin Peaks Bronco police car from the iconic David Lynch series also look very good. Another icon is James Dean in his Porsche Spyder 550.

WETA really made up their minds and delivered a fantastic creation here: the phial can be filled with water (of course from Galadriel's Mirror) and through the LED spot which is built in the base the light of Eärendil's star does shine and sparkle in bright glance! May it be a light to you in dark places, when all other lights go out...

There's good news and bad news for all fans of the NETFLIX »The Witcher« series. We will get a fourth season, but Henry Cavill will no longer be on board as Geralt of Rivia. Liam Hemsworth will take on his role!

Cavill posted on Instagram:
"My journey as Geralt of Rivia has been filled with both monsters and adventures, and alas, I will be laying down my medallion and my swords for season 4. In my stead, the fantastic Mr Liam Hemsworth will be taking up the mantle of the White Wolf. As with the greatest of literary characters, I pass the torch with reverence for the time spent embodying Geralt and enthusiasm to see Liam's take on this most fascinating and nuanced of men.
Liam, good sir, this character has such a wonderful depth to him, enjoy diving in and seeing what you can find."

Like Cavill before him, Hemsworth has come out as a big Witcher fan and is full of praise for his predecessor. He probably knows he has big shoes to fill.

We can only speculate about the reasons for Cavill's departure. It may have something to do with his return as Superman. Perhaps the projects couldn't be reconciled on schedule.

So while Superman fans are cheering, The Witcher fans have to swallow the toad that it will continue without Cavill. But at least we can still look forward to season three with him. Let's wait and see how Liam Hemsworth will do. There will be a change for sure, but Bond has also survived various cast changes ...
