Dear MYTHIC LEGIONS fans and collectors - why should you feel any differently than the rest of the collecting community? You too had to wait a little longer for news - but we think it was worth it!

The brand new ML All Stars 5+ wave is up for pre-order in our shop since yesterday evening :). As always with the All Stars waves, this one also comes with two MOTU tribute figures. This time they were inspired by Stratos (Zenithon) and Webstor (Okeaetos).

Two waves we are eagerly awaiting have now been produced or are just about to be finished: the Deluxe Legion Builder and the Illythia Wave! Since the FOUR HORSEMEN are always very strict with the release dates (which we like, actually), there are certain worldwide street dates again. For the Illythia Wave, this is September 19th. The Legion Builders are still delayed a bit and will probably come in mid/late October. Anyone who has pre-ordered the figures from us will receive info updates soon. Of course, we try to have everything in stock on time and to be able to deliver it to you properly.

Last weekend, the Neuss Filmbörse celebrated its 10th anniversary with an extra-large version. In addition to many dealers for DVDs, Blu-rays, media books and merchandise, there were also a couple of star guests, including Ken Foree (Dawn of the Dead), Ruggero Deodato (Cannibal Holocaust), Cinzia Monreale (The Beyond), Christina Lindberg (Thriller: A Cruel Picture) , Maurizio Guarini (Goblin) and Ruhr area veteran Ralf Richter (Das Boot).

Many cosplay groups also did the honors and so the flair and charm of a good old (horror) convention spread, which we all surely missed during the forced Corona break.

It was also a very emotional weekend for many, because it was also a weekend of farewells. The FrightGuys, our favorite horror cosplay group, are retiring from the frightening business after 13 years. What began as a modest walking act soon became an integral part of the con scene and wrote history. The »FrightGuys« were truly an institution. Now they gave their farewell performance.

We look back on many hours horror-talks, countless photos and many beers together. We wish Axel and the FrightGuys all the best for the future. We are sure that we will (even if only privately) cross paths at many conventions!

The wait is finally over! As of today, the first two episodes of »The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power« can finally be streamed on Amazon Prime.

Maybe one or the other of you couldn't resist and you peeked in at breakfast before work and are now looking forward to the end of the day to finally watch the two episodes in their entirety.

Yesterday, we heard the first voices from formerly rather skeptical cinema/TV YouTubers who attended the cinema screening and admitted that, despite their initial reservations, they are totally hooked.

That makes us very optimistic. In any case, it is clear how the S.P.A.C.E Crew will spend their evening ...

Let's turn the clock a few years back ... to the early 2000's:
A young Tobi (with just as much hair as today) was still a student. Oh, what good old times back then: coming home from school, meeting friends, doing homework and then sitting in front of the TV extremely excited and watching the latest episode of »Dragon Ball Z«. Probbaly many of you felt the same - even the ones who aren't called Tobi 😜.

Do you still remember the epic Namek saga? We eagerly watched the fight between Goku and Frieza which felt like a million episodes long and then finally came to a temporary peak: Frieza kills Goku's childhood friend Krillin, whereupon Goku lets his anger run wild and unleashes unexpected powers .. Goku transforms into a Super Saiyan, for the first time ever!

Well yeah, maybe we were a little nostalgic about this month's decision, also because the new Dragon Ball movie has just opened at cinemas. But the Super Saiyan Son Goku »Are you Talking about Krillin?!!!!!« FiguartsZERO statue from BANDAI definitely deserves the "Product of the Month" award!

The irrepressible determination and deep anger were captured so fantastically. The impressive collectible is rounded off by the Namek base. We are amazed and if you feel the same, you can grab the 27cm tall statue in our shop now.  It just arrived in stock and is ready to ship 😃👍.

After a few months of silence regarding the live-action adaptation of the acclaimed video game BIOSHOCK, things are slowly picking up again.

Francis Lawrence was hired to direct. He is the director of »The Hunger Games - Catching Fire and Mockingjay«, »I am Legend«, »Constantine« and »Red Sparrow«. The screenplay is written by Michael Green, who gave us »Logan« und »Blade Runner 2049«, but also »Green Lantern«. After all not such a bad starting point.

We really want to immerse ourselves in the dystopian worlds of BIOSHOCK and of course we really hope that Netflix doesn't screw it up after they recently crashed the »Resident Evil« franchise with full force. The series was cancelled after just one season 😲...

After so many years and battles which our saiyan friend Son Goku went through, we are not bored at all from him and the Dragon Ball universe.

The latest movie conversion from Akira Toriyama's export hit, DRAGON BALL SUPER: SUPER HERO, is proving this impressively! In many countries, the new flick is already at cinemas since a couple of days and climbing to the top of the box office charts in many places. We here in Germany are delighted to see the movie at cinemas from today. We are very excited which records DRAGON BALL SUPER: SUPER HERO will break.

Everybody in the S.P.A.C.E Crew - especially our Tobi - is looking forward to the movie. Of course, we already digged out our Super-Saiyan wigs from the closet 🤣.

The »Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - The Cowabunga Collection« will be released tomorrow and it will contain - literally - 13 (!!!) games. Yes, you are reading correctly, THIRTEEN games! These will all be renewals from games out of the extensive history of turtlish game conversions.

Don't worry folks, of course the legendary TURTLES IN TIME is also among there. You probably spent hours and hours back in the 90's with your friends on SNES gambling. This alone will probably be reason enough for most of the fans to grab the Cowabunga Collection.

But besides games that were available on the SNES back then, it also contains titles which were only available for Game Boy, the NES or even Sega Genesis. Even the arcande version from 1989 made it into the collection.

If you are starting to sweat when hearing the word "arcade" you can actually stay calm and relax. Digital Eclipse/Konami are providing comfort features which allow constant saving aswell as the possibility to rewind everything. Real ninjas of course will skip this 😜.

Directed by David Bruckner (The Ritual, The House at Night), Hulu got into a reinterpretation of the Clive Barker classic »Hellraiser«, a film that made horror film history in 1987. After two still very respectable sequels, Hellraiser finally bogged down in the hell of the ordinary franchise.

In this reimagining, a young woman must confront the sadistic, supernatural forces behind a mysterious puzzle box that is responsible for her brother's disappearance.

David Bruckner has already proven that he understands atmospheric horror and the announced R rating gives hope for an adequate implementation of the Barker material. The mini teaser doesn't reveal anything yet:

The Hulu launch date is October 7th. For countries where Hulu isn't available, it's most likely that Disney+ will be launching the movie on their platform.

This Saturday, a small but fine event will take place in Bensheim (Hessen, Germany): the LUXOR FANTASTIC 6!

Spread over two floors there will be a lot to discover in this phantastic movie theatre. You can dig through tons of new and especially old toys and surely also meet some related species ...

Due to the pandemic, Gamescom has only been held digitally for the last two years - but today, Cologne Exhibition officially opens the doors for the gaming community again!

From August 24th to 28th, the controllers will be glowing in Cologne. The opening night yesterday already gave us a little taste of what we can expect in near future:
Some of the trailers teased us already, such as the new DUNE AWAKENING (an Open World Survival MMO) or WARHAMMER 40,000K DARKTIDE.
Besides the titles which we did't have on our radar, there were also a couple of new trailers for already announced games. Many of you will surely look forward to HOGWARTS LEGACY or CALLISTO PROTOKOLL (at least in our crew :)).

10 days to go - then the time will finally come for us all to dive back into Middle-earth! From 2nd September 2022, »The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power«, the most expensive TV series of all time, will start with a double-episode on PRIME VIDEO.

Already very early in the night at 3:00 a.m. the first two episodes will be available. Isn't that reason enough to set the alarm clock a bit earlier or get out of bed in time ;).

As of today, the first episode of »House of the Dragon«, the highly anticipated prequel of »Game of Thrones«, is available on HBO Max or Sky / WOW!

When a dragon circles over King's Landing, the first »Game of Thrones« vibes quickly set in. We straight away get to know the most important players from the House of Targaryen. There are violent scenes with lots of blood and bare skin, fateful events and mean intrigues - and even more blood and bare skin ...

Paddy Considine as King Viserys Targaryen, Emma D'Arcy as his daughter Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, Matt Smith as his unpredictable brother Prince Daemon Targaryen and Eve Best as the failed Queen Rhaenys Velaryon all have great casts.

The first episode already has a lot of what we love »Game of Thrones« for. Maybe the prequel won't be quite as good as the parent series, but we're hooked for now and see a lot of potential for an exciting series.

If you don't just want to travel to Middle-earth in the Amazon series, you'll soon have the opportunity to do so virtually!

The publisher PRIVATE DIVISION recently announced a new »Lord of the Rings« game. If you are now thinking "another Lord of the Rings game?", you should read on.

Unfortunately, exact details have not yet been revealed, but it will probably differ greatly from previous video games. But who is behind the development? None other than the gaming department of WETA - teh special effects craftsmanship who was significantly involved in the »Lord of the Rings« films and enriched us collectors with a variety of wonderful collectibles. Now that sounds really interesting, doesn't it?

The release of the game will probably be in the second half of 2023. So let's hope that there will be more information about this soon, because we are very curious!

On September 9th it's going round again! »Cobra Kai« Season 5 will hit NETFLIX and we're wondering: can Daniel and Johnny stop Cobra Kai's advance?

After the furious ending in Season 4, Cobra Kai continues to expand and increase its power. Devon vowed revenge after her All-Valley elimination and Daniel LaRusso's son Anthony may take up karate training at "Miyagi-Do" after he was badly beaten up by Kenny. We're excited to see who will prevail in this epic battle ...

Yesterday, NETFLIX showed (of course on a Wednesday) a first real trailer on the »Wednesday Addams« series by Tim Burton, who will direct all eight episodes:

The series will be a coming-of-age mystery story centered on Wednesday Addams and her years as a high school student at Nevermore Academy.

Getting used to new faces of familiar characters is never easy. At least in the trailer, Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams and Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams haven't been able to convince us as far as the chemistry between their characters is concerned. But Jenna Ortega captivates us with that mischievous smile. We think she's going to be a great Wednesday.

The trailer really steps on the gas for the last few meters and really gets you excited about the series. It is scheduled to start in the fall (we expect a start date around Halloween).

As of today, we can get the first episode of »She-Hulk: Attorney at Law« on Disney+, followed by a new episode every Thursday.

Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) plays attorney Jennifer Walters. While driving with her cousin Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), an accident occurs in which Jennifer comes in contact with Bruce's gamma-irradiated blood and transforms into She-Hulk ...

There are occasionally a few quite charming moments in the Marvel series, which has so far only relied on comedy. The humor and fourth-wall-breaking like »Deadpool« feels a bit forced - somehow we feel like we're in a Marvel/Ally McBeal hybrid. The first episode didn't really want to ignite for us, but let's see where the journey takes us.

The master himself introduces us to the collection of stories and we can get a first glimpse of the fantastic creature design and the practical effects.

Wow, that makes every horror fan's heart soar. That looks really promising. Filmmakers known for their innovative productions took the director's chair, including Ana Lily Amirpour (A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night), Panos Cosmatos (Mandy), Jennifer Kent (The Babadook) and David Prior (The Empty Man).

We are very excited and looking forward to the start of the series on October 25th.

The anticipation of »God of War Ragnarök«, which will be released in November 2022, is growing every day - at least for our Tobi-as.

Dear leisure time crooks, taxi drivers, law students, light criminals and of course dear hobby cooks - today, we have the very last chance for instant justice! Because today it will be the very last time to BETTER CALL SAUL!

Everyone among you who is as deeply into the »Breaking Bad« or »Better Call Saul« theme as some dudes within the S.P.A.C.E cosmos has probably not slept too much in the past days because of the super hefty cliffhanger from last week.

We are so excited to see how the two superbrains Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould will tell the end of the long story. It's clear that we will wish Saul or Gene or Jimmy farewell with at least one crying eye ...

It is absolutely rightly so that this incredibly well done series is keeping such high ratings on for example the IMDb and also a coule of Emmy nominations. And Bob Odenkirk played himself forever deep in our hearts anyway with his role of Saul Goodman - basically as deep as Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul.

Enough of languish and philosophy - we will get a gallon of cucumber water in the fridge real quick and bite some fingernails untill tonight it will finally - unfortunately - mean: SAUL GONE!

Adult Swim released the first full-length trailer for »Rick and Morty« Season 6 last week. Scientist Rick and his grandson Morty are getting ready to shake up the multiverse once again.
