What did we actually do on rainy, grey weekends... back in the days, when there was no streaming? Nowaways, at best we are spoiled for choice! Three new, really interesting shows, starting today, invite us to escape the dreary November.

On NETFLIX, the anime live-action adaptation of »Cowboy Bebop« kicks off today. The first reviews here are wildly mixed and range from "bullshit" to "congenial adaptation". We hung on the hook after the intro and trailer.

Let's see what the »Hellbound« mystery series (also NETFLIX) can do. South Korean productions have been very popular since »Parasite« and of course »Squid Game«.

At the competitor PRIME VIDEO, Amazon is today sending the first three episodes of the adaptation of the Robert Jordan fantasy novel cycle »The Wheel of Time« into the race. The ambitious and elaborately produced Amazon original series is often traded (like almost every new fantasy series) as the next »Game of Thrones«. We'll definitely take a look.

What's at the top of your watchlist?

As children of the 80's, we grew up watching the two »Ghostbusters« movies. Two classics that have burned themselves deeply into our pop cultural memory and became part of our love for the cinema.

After the rather disappointing reboot attempt in 2016, we are drawn back to the theater with more than one year delay on this cinema Thursday to watch »Ghostbusters: Afterlife«!

This time, we are really in good spirits as the project is in the right hands of Jason Reitman, son of Ivan Reitman, director of the first two movies. So the franchise moves to a new generation, both behind and in front of the camera... and also to a new generation of Ghostbusters fans.

And we old movie buffs from the 80's are already looking forward to our goosebumps when the first beats of the Ghostbuster theme will appear and we immerse ourselves in magical, green-slimy cinema nostalgia. Have fun, folks - and always remember: never cross the streams!

Today, exactly one month before the start of the new Spider-Man flick »No Way Home«, the manufacturer HOT TOYS revealed a brand-new Spidey 1/6 figure! This stunning collectible will soon be up for pre-order on our website - both in the regular and the deluxe variant.

What do all monsters have in common? Somehow they just can't be killed. So it's no wonder that the "Ugly Motherf *** er" will also step into the next round. Predator 5 is currently in post-production and will be released next year under the title »Prey« - most likely on Disney+.

The film could well be seen as a prequel to the original movie from 1987, because it takes place 300 years before Arnold's encounter with the beast. We are in the land of the Comanches and the young warrior Naru (Amber Midthunder) makes the acquaintance of the extraterrestrial hunting tourist who visits our planet for the first time.

A few days ago, 20th Century Studios published a first very atmospheric promo image that definitely aroused our interest in the film. In addition to the Predator, we would also like to have a Naru action- figure (Hot Toys are you listening?!).

Even though - at least when it comes to our taste - there wasn't any huge bang during last Friday's »Disney+ Day«, we at least got some apetizers on the dish:

Since the trailer on »The Book of Boba Fett« already dropped early November, we though it would be nice to get a first teaser now on the upcoming »Obi-Wan Kenobi« series. Unfortunately Disney "only" gave us a sizzle with some concept arts and comments by Ewan McGregor and Deborah Chow - but looking at the animated logo for the show surely gives every die-hard STAR WARS fan already goosebumps ;). Really well done is also the 21-minute docu »Under the Helmet: The Legacy of Boba Fett« that is available on Disney+ since last Friday. Definately worth seeing - and a must for loyal fans on Mandalorians!

As expected, the biggest news and reveals came from the MARVEL department, even if there were also just mini teasers on »Ms. Marvel«, »She-Hulk« and »Moon Knight«. All three shows will come to Disney+ next year.

Impressive, as we thought, was the first photo from Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury from »Secret Invasion« - this time without eye patch, but with grey beard. Bad Ass! Further there were a couple of new and re-designed logos on different projects, like »Marvel Zombies«, »Iron Heart«, »Echo« or »Agatha - House of Harkness«!

For all fans of animated series, Disney came up with two surprises: the X-Men will be continued with »X-Men '97« and we will get a new Spider-Man series (»Spider-Man: Freshman Year«) which will even be an official part of the MCU and tell us the story about how Peter Parker (Tom Holland) became Spidey... Exciting!

But surely the biggest smile on our faces gave us Warwick Davis aka Willow Ufgood when he made his introduction loop through all his young cast members on the upcoming »Willow« series. Warwick simply is a trademark - and he once again made clear that his second W mustn't be pronounced ;). We are so looking forward to the sequel of the 80's fantasy hit!

Every year, there is the famous kitbashing competition in the Action Figure District. The big award ceremony took place this week.

In the compulsory section, the golden cup went to Okieh2 for his »John Marston«, inspired by the video game »Red Dead Redemption«. Peewee then convinced in the freestyle, staging her »Remus Lupine« interpretation based on the Harry Potter books in a stunning photo series, showing Remus' transformation into a werewolf.

Even though many STAR WARS fans among you almost convinced us very often in the last couple of years, we were able to resist the tempation called LEGO so far - at least when it comes to our product range in our shop.

Still we are of course monitoring the happenings around the little bricks and this bang which LEGO will release by the end of November really blows us away: the AT-AT, the so far biggest set within the »Ultimate Collector Series«!

With a dropped down jaw and googly eyes, we spent the last couple of days to dig closely through all upcoming novelties from PRIME 1 STUDIO. Because a little more than a week ago, the Japanese manufacturer released the »Next Level Showcase 3« on their YouTube channel, to give us all an insight of their latest projects.

From the DC license there were three »Death Metal« statues revealed, aswell as Bloodsport, King Shark and Peacemaker from »The Suicide Squad«. The charming Harley Quinn of course also didn't stay away. We even have her already listed on our website.

All »Lord of the Rings« companions among you will probably celebrate the two next announcements - Gimli and Boromir. These are again made with highest level of detail, to create further masterpieces.

There is so much more to discover in the almost 2-hour show: Batman, Godzilla, Ghost in the Shell, Dorohedoro, The Witcher, Ghost of Tsushima, Final Fantasy 6, Predator... up to exciting teasers on Mortal Kombat, The Matrix and Jurassic Park! Since then, everybody in our crew keeps asking and asking the same question: WHICH BANK DO I ROB FIRST????

When the Bud Spencer 1:6 figure by Kaustic Plastik (in collaboration with Infinite Statue) was released at the beginning of the year, all fans were extremely happy and excited. Of course, immediately the question if there will also be a Terence Hill figure soon popped up everywhere. Clear as we all know that Bud and Terence simply belong together like beans and bacon. Upon request, we were able to find out that tough negotiations were being held with the licensors since some time...

Holy moly - now everything seems to be cut and dried! A first teaser image is confirming a »Bud Spencer & Terence Hill Collection« which will be launched in spring 2022.

We expect a Terence Hill statue from »They Call Me Trinity« first, followed shortly by a 1/6 action-figure - perhaps even with horse!

The creative makers from Infinite and Kaustic will definately come up with more, as there would be so much more to make out of the "collection". What about a deluxe statue with Bambino and Trinity as duo, on a nice diorama base...? Let's wait and see - they will surely surprise us!

»Eternals« is starting in German cinemas today! It is the 26th film in the MCU and already the third in phase 4. The first reviews differ widely. The spectrum ranges from "epic" to "extremely boring". But you can certainly attest to the film a great look and also the courage to dare something new.

We will go to the movies with somewhat subdued expectations - but hey, there's nothing like forming your own picture and get pleasantly surprised in the end...

As with every Marvel movie, we also count on Hot Toys figures from the Eternals. It remains to be seen whether there will be all 10 characters. But probably the box office revenues will also determine that. We are excited!

Yesterday, Lucasfilm totally unexpected dropped the first clip from the upcoming Disney+ series! We actually were assuming the trailer to be released by mid of the month, for Disney+ Day - but hey, a bounty hunter always beats everybody to the draw 🤠.

You are probably as excited as we are about what stories Boba will read from his book starting December 29th 🧐...

Almost 30 years ago, Michelle Pfeiffer took the role of Catwoman in Tim Burton's classic »Batman Returns«. Today, not a bit older and yet as graceful, we elected her as our product of the month November 2021 thanks to the brand-new »Catwoman Art Scale Statue« by IRON STUDIOS!

The Brazilian manufacturer really did an awesome job here. The statue in 1/10 scale made of polystone comes with a noble base and additional kitty. The details in the sculpting and paint finish are really impressive and already the iconic pose itself catches everybody's attention on this beautiful collectible.

Of course a lady is late from time to time - this is part of her prestige. But we forgive Selina Kyle and awate her arrival at the S.P.A.C.E Headquarter full of pleasant anticipation latest by next week...

90 years ago, the Universal film »Dracula« was released at cinemas. The flick opened the round of Universal Monsters, heralded the Golden Age of Horror and made Bela Lugosi a star and probably the most iconic Dracula of all time. Ask someone to imitate Dracula and he most likely will give you Lugosi's Hungarian accent.

From the extremely successful collaboration between the two Italian manufacturers »Kaustic Plastik« and »Infinite Statue« all 1:6 collectors can now look forward to a phantasic conversion of Bela Lugois as Count Dracula! Thanks to the Italian manufacturer »Infinite Statue« the hearts of all Bud Spencer fans are beating faster today! After the stunning »Bambino« statue which was released about one year ago, Infinite is taking the next round with the brand-new »Banana Joe« statue based on the movie of the same name.

Banana Joe, always happy and in a good mood, with a load full of bananas on his shoulders and the little one under his arm - exactly as seen on the movie poster and converted in 1:6 scale with highest love of detail!

Thursday cinema day! Today two films start that we have on the watchlist.
There we have »Halloween Kills«, the continuation of the 2018 »Halloween«. The reviews here were mostly moderate to bad. But on Rotten Tomatoes he still has an audience score of 70%. But let's form our own judgment. Maybe you just have to see the film as a bridge to »Halloween Ends«.

»Venom - Let There Be Carnage« does a little better in the criticism. It was also said more often that the film was better than its predecessor. In any case, we are curious about the Odd Couple Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) alias Venom and of course about his antagonist Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson) alias Carnage.
