We've waited enough - but now it's here, the first trailer for »Venom 2« which Sony Pictures wants to bring to cinemas fall, with a full Corona-related delay.
The English title »Venom: Let There Be Carnage« already tells us who we are dealing with in Venom 2: Carnage or serial killer Cletus Kasady, as embodied by Woody Harrelson in the mid-credit scene of the first film. He then also acts as an off-narrator in the trailer who boasts bizarre humor and lots of action, perfectly orchestrated and cleverly commented on by Harry Nilsson's »One«. We are definitely hooked up and really excited!
Will super villain Shriek appear, too? At least the slightly longer English trailer gives a hint at 1:23! Or can we even look forward to a Spidey cameo? But please, Sony Pictures: give us an R-rating!

Breaking news for all »Stanger Things« fans! NETFLIX just released the second trailer »Eleven, are you listening?« for the fourth season of the series.
The streaming service keeps us tense, because what we see is obviously a flashback that takes us back to the beginning of Elfi's story. So we don't yet find out how things will continue and how the series picks up the loose threads of the last season.
A start date is planned towards the end of 2021. There will probably be two more trailers by then. We are very excited and look forward to returning to Hawkins!

Horror fans and especially the nostalgics among you who love the "old" zombie films from the 70's and 80's will surely be amazed by our current product of the month!
The American brand »Trick or Treat Studios« gladly grabbed a license for a couple of these creep classics and released a surprisingly detailed line of 1:4 scale busts of rotten undeads.
The probably most famous of all zombies, the so called "bald plaid-shirted zombie" from the cover of the famous George A. Romero flick »Dawn of the Dead« from 1978 was elected as our product of the month May 2021!
The bust is about 23cm high and really well sculpted and painted. Also the box design looks great so that this bald-headed dude in his checked flannel shirt is probably a must-have for every zombie fan and collector 😜...

Last weekend, the so called »LA Micro Con« took place for the first time, a small but fine digital event at which we fans from around the globe were able to join from home.
Of course the big player in the collectible business - SIDESHOW - patricipated from the own studio and showed off a nice portfolio of novelties. You can check out the booth tour on YouTube. The show was co-moderated by actor and passionated collector Titus Welliver from afar.
Thanks to the support of HOT TOYS, they were able to showcase two absolute world premiers: the 1/6 Nightwing from »Batman: Arkham Knight« and damn cool 1/6 Miles Morales in Bodega Cat Suit from »Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales«!

Finally production on HOUSE OF THE DRAGON is kicking off. The prequel series of »Game of Thrones« was announced back in 2019 and is based on »Fire & Blood« by George R.R. Martin. Some first photos from the script reading session with a couple of stars of the new show have been posted recently. This was at least a first appetizer!

26.04.2021 • AND THE OSCAR GOES TO...
Last night, the 93rd Annual Academy Awards took place. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the date had been postponed by two months and everything was different this time, starting with the location of the event in Los Angeles at the Dolby Theatre and Union Station. Due to the current situation, everything was much smaller and less glamorous. But the lack of tam-tam around it probably sharpened the eyes for the films and for the essentials. The lack of blockbusters eventually shifted interest to other, perhaps lesser-known films.
The big winner of the evening was NOMADLAND. The film won three Oscars, namely for best motion picture, for best achievement in directing for Chloé Zhao and the award for best actress for Frances McDormand.
Anthony Hopkins was named best actor in a leading role for THE FATHER. We were actually expecting Chadwick Boseman to win, as he was posthumously nominated for his role in MA RAINEY’S BLACK BOTTOM and was considered a big favorite. »The Father« received another Oscar for best adopted screenplay. PROMISING YOUNG WOMAN was awarded for best original screenplay.
The golden boys for the best supporting roles went to a very cheerful Daniel Kaluuya for JUDAS AND THE BLACK MESSIAH and the Korean actress Youn Yuh-jung for MINARI. The funniest acceptance speech of the evening went on her account.
As expected, TENET received the Academy Award for the best visual effects. MANK by David Fincher was nominated in 10 categories, but only got two Oscars (for best camera and best production design). THE TRIAL OF THE CHICAGO 7 was nominated six times, but came out completely empty.

It's official: Michael Keaton, for many the one and only BATMAN from the era before Christopher Nolan, will return in his role after 30 years!
He will be playing an aged Bruce Wayne in the upcoming DC film »The Flash« - in the DC Multiverse which might be connecting all existing DC universes. All DC universes? Yep! Because rumors are that also Ben Affleck will suit up again for this movie.
We are totally thrilled who else the Flash will come across with his breaking-through-dimensions time travel skills.Parallel to this breaking news, director Andy Muschietti announced shooting day 1 of the film and he also revealed the official film logo on Instagram. Awesome!

It was just a question of when, until HOT TOYS would announce Ahsoka Tano as the next, indispensable character within the 1/6 line up on »The Mandalorian«...
This morning, it finally was the time! We instantly could feel a strong disturbance in the Force - in a positive sense though - when the images by Hot Toys popped up on Facebook and Instagram. Incredible and just breath-taking, how Hot Toys is bringing Ahsoka to life - actually even better than expected! The figure will be a "DX Figure" (with the new "separate rolling eyeballs" feature), so that you will be able to recreate even more authentic scenes and expressions and in the end shoot even more awesome photos.
There will be a choice between Ahsoka Tano as single figure and a Deluxe Set which will include a detailed theme-base, another back drop, the lantern AND of course sweet little Grogu! Of Grogu we won't get a re-pack from the Mando Set, but a totally new version with articulated head and arms and a newly sculpted head.
The wait will surely be extremely long for all of us, because we assume that the release will be end of 2022 (or even early 2023?), but anticipation can also be not sooo bad 😝 We are pretty confident that we will be able to list Ahsoka Tano sometime next week for pre-order on our website... 🤩

After the first teaser in early March, NETFLIX posted a 3-minute trailer on Zack Snyder's »Army of the Dead« yesterday - and it's super cool!
Not only the perfectly fitting musical background from Kenny Rogers' »The Gambler«, but also the rapid cut and - admittedly, a bit dumb - Matthias Schweighöfer, who appears to be playing a German, round up the clip. The trailer also tells us that we are dealing with really clever zombies and not with »Walking Dead« slowpoges.
We are happy that Zack Snyder is back in the game and can take up and implement his projects again. For this occasion, we will have undead meat on our plate today, freshly served on our YouTube channel: the Airport Zombie bust from the George A. 12.04.2021 • THE 1/6 CHAOS IS COMING OVER US!
If you've followed our Instagram Stories last Friday, you almost were able to join us live and watch us unload the long-awaited container from Asia with thousands of 1/6 novelties. Now we arrived at chaos :).
Thanks to an extra shift over the weekend, we're through with booking in and checking all the stuff. But our warehouses are totally full to burst almost, so that it's extremely hard to even move. We will try to ship out all the horses pre-orders first because the herd takes a lot of space. After that we will continue with orders containing complete figures and smaller stuff.
Please give us a couple of days until we can overlook everything and get some coordination back about the boxes and shelves. The chaos is reigning, but we don't let ourselves go down ;).

08.04.2021 • MINI-PUFTS MARSHMALLOW ARMY
Who does not remember the marshmallow man who drawed a path of devastation through New York? Of course, only the Ghostbusters were able to stop him. The »Stay Puft« Marshmallow Mam advertising figure became a key visual in the Ghostbusters franchise and thus an actual advertising icon. No wonder, then, that the popular character should not be missing in »Ghostbusters: Afterlife« - but totally different than from what you would expect... Because he's returning in a miniature form, but therefore in a pack and pretty snappy, like a surprised Paul Rudd must experience in the latest promo clip on the upcoming Ghostbusters movie.
The little boys are causing a lot of chaos and arouse great anticipation for the film in us. If everything goes well, it will start on November 11th at cinemas. Why the hell are we hungry for sticky white, sweet candy now...?!

Star Wars fans have May the 4th, Star Trek fans have their 5th April - because that is the FIRST CONTACT DAY. And just in time for the celebration of the day, Paramount provided a few nice surprises:
There were new teasers for »Star Trek: Discovery« Season 4 and »Picard« Season 2. There is a clear hint in it, which was followed closely by the confirmation. An old friend from »Star Trek: The Next Generation« will be returning. And that's none other than the almighty Q!
Which Trekkie doesn't fondly remember the appearances of Q star John de Lancie on TNG. These episodes were always special - unpredictable, quirky and with the right dose of humor.
To reveal the news, there was also a zoom interview by Wesley Crusher alias Wil Wheaton with Patrick Stewart and John de Lancie.
What do you think? That gives hope for an exciting and funny second season of the Picard series.

After it got really a bit quiet in the MCU last year due to the pandemic, DISNEY or MARVEL seem to be back on the superhero front in 2021. Of course, the company's own streaming service Disney + now offers the corresponding options.
It has now been confirmed that BLACK WIDOW will start on Disney+ on 9th July (initially with VIP access). The cinema release should take place at the same time (if the pandemic situation allows). The brand new final trailer was released at the same time over the weekend.
THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER has now reached halftime and is really picking up speed. Without spoiling we can reveal that the series is again peppered with great Easter Eggs (of course, it was Easter too) and interesting connections to the MCU.
And to not get us bored until the ETERNALS are coming up in November, Marvel also put the new trailer for LOKI, the next Disney + series, online over the weekend. You should definitely check it out, because you can already see in the preview how brilliantly Tom Hiddleston embodies the character and is obviously keen on his own personal spin-off. It starts on 11th June on Disney+.

»Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure« from 1989 is a beloved movie. Nothing in depth, just simply funny, sometimes wonderfully absurd - in short: a film that can be watched wonderfully with dudes and a few beers on the sofa. Quite a few cheered when Blitzway announced an excellent 1:6 double pack with Bill and Ted back in summer 2019... and now it's out and has made it to our product of the month April 2021 straight away.
The characters have great heads, even if Ted would still have had some room for improvement. The costumes are simply top notch and can be seen. And the accessories are also convincing: a small CD cover that can also be opened and has a CD inside, cool guitars and of course a pay phone.
We have just as much fun looking at and posing the figures as we do with the film and wish you a lot of fun with our excellent product of the month.
